Westish Doodles
I've finally had the chance to sort out the pile of life drawing from the last three years at Disney ... in the process of picking out pieces to keep, I found quite a few doodles I'd forgotten about, including some of Herbert West and his unnamed narrator:
That is, the unnamed narrator falling prey to the rest of Lovecraft's canon ...

love these - how to I get to follow your blog? You're inspiring me to do similar (maybe are - completely different to your delightful sketches) with mine! Though Herbert West weren't nevah my fave :-) I want to see more of 'mice in teh walls' :-D

Your work is absolutely incredible. You have the original Disney look down pat. You nailed it. And you made it your own. I cannot say Bravo enough. These sketches are a perfect blend of the two worlds...I am utterly in awe.
Aw, thanks you guys! I did a mini-comic of the first Re-animator story with these designs, but the anthology of which is was a part is stuck in publishing limbo. If it ever does come out I will post news of it on this blog ...
